In our expirience it is best to allow users to walk through your shop without
the need first to register. It is also the way BitsMarket is made up. The user
can decide if and when he wants to sign up. Of course we'll try to motivate
him on different ways.
There are lots of ways to motivate your visitor for signing up (depending on
your specific configuration and used options).
The Account Manager:
- Options for anonymous users (if available in your setup):
- Change language
- Choose currency
- Select prices with VAT included or not
- Select shipping country (for determining amount for free delivery).
- Options for registered users (if available in your setup):
- Change language
- Change currency
- Select prices with VAT included or not
- Select shipping country (for determining amount for free delivery).
- Modify account data
- Modify password
- Ask for password (if forgotten)
- Manage an unlimited number of shipping addresses, and set one as
default if wanted.
- Login with cookies.
- Advantages for registered users:
- Add items to your shopping cart day after day (before ordering)
- Manage your own Favorites on different lists (unlimited numbers of favorites and unlimited number of lists)
- Access to online Order History (with extra module also possible to access other (not online) orders)
- Choose the number of search results you want to see per page
- Quick Order: registered users can choose how many rows per page
- Manage your delivery addresses (unlimited number), and possibility to
set one as default delivery address
- Your Secretary: user can specify his own e-mail reminders per product,
and even for a personal message. Of course also unlimited
- Supplies Manager: get the right supply for the right type of machine.
Specifically build for laser and inkjet cartridges. Can also be used
for other kind of products.
- Possible to get access to free gifts (if activated in config files, and
not deactivated for this user).
